“Stopped in tonight for dinner and the food was amazing. I had the birria taco plate. Came with 3 tacos, rice and beans. Very flavorful!!! Then my husband and I shared a medium mangonada which blew my mind! Sweet and sour notes that I just couldn't stop eating. The staff was very sweet and helpful! Go give them a try!"

At Grandma's, we're more than just a restaurant—we’re a proud, family-owned business in LaPorte, Indiana, with deep roots in creating delicious, homemade flavors that bring people together.
Since opening in 2015 as a cozy breakfast spot, we've been serving up favorites like fluffy pancakes, savory omelets, and hearty skillets that keep our guests coming back for more. As our passion for food grew, so did our menu.
In 2021, we added a vibrant ice cream parlor, offering unique treats like mangonadas, Mexican street corn, and indulgent sundaes—including our signature Churro Sundae and Gansito Sundae. These sweet flavors quickly became local favorites in LaPorte.
Then in 2023, we proudly introduced our taqueria, bringing authentic Mexican tacos, birria, burritos, and quesadillas to the heart of LaPorte. Our birria tacos have become a must-try, packed with rich, savory flavor and made with quality ingredients.
